How do I export my ESET Smart Security Whitelist/Blacklist to another computer?
KB Solution ID: SOLN750|Last Revised: January 18, 2011A whitelist is a list of email addresses or domains which you have designated as legitimate email contacts. A blacklist is a list of specific email addresses or domains you consider to be associated with spam. The ESET Smart Security Antispam feature uses these lists to assist in the filtering of unwanted email messages.
To copy the ESET Smart Security Whitelist/Blacklistfrom one computer to another, please follow the steps below.
Windows XP:
- Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\ESET\ESET Smart Security.
- Copy the ekrnSmonBL.dat and ekrnSmonWL.dat files to the same directory on the target computer.
(If you cannot see the Application Data folder, click Start

View tab
select Show hidden files and folders.)
Windows Vista:
- Navigate to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\ESET\ESET Smart Security.
