KB Solution ID: SOLN3007|Last Revised: June 23, 2014

Issue

  • Migrate client workstations to a new ESET Remote Administrator server

Solution

If all the clients you want to transfer to your new server are assigned to a common policy in the ESET Remote Administrator Console, use Method I to transfer them all to your new server using policy manager. Use Method II if you want to select only specific clients to transfer to your new server by arranging a configuration task.

  1. Install ESET Remote Administrator Server (ERAS) on your new server computer and obtain the IP address for this machine.

  2. Open the ESET Remote Administrator console (ERAC) by double-clicking the ESET Remote Administrator Console icon on your Desktop, or by clicking Start All Programs ESET ESET Remote Administrator Console ESET Remote Administrator Console.

  3. Click Tools Policy manager.

  4. Select the policy that applies to the client workstations you want to transfer to your new server and click Edit.
