Details

Setting a web page exception is a quick way to allow access to a specific web page that might otherwise be blocked by Parental control. You can define which user accounts different web page exceptions apply to.

Solution

  1. Add a web page to the exceptions list

  2. Edit a web page in the exceptions list

  3. Remove a web page from the exceptions list

I. Add a web page to the exceptions list:

  1. Open ESET Smart Security. How do I open my ESET product?

  2. Click Setup Parental control.

  1. In the Web page exceptions window, type the URL of the web page you want to create an exception for into the URL field. You can select which user accounts the exception applies to by clicking the icon next to an account name. A green check mark indicates that the URL exception applies to a specific user account, while a red X indicates that the exception does not apply to that user account. Click OK to save your changes once you are finished.
