ESET Mobile Security for Android

ESET Mobile Security for Android is ESET's security software applicaton for Android mobile devices. It combines a proactive scanning engine with antispam and antitheft features to provide real-time protection against known and emerging threats.

• SIM matching: allows you to create a list of trusted SIM cards for your device
   
• Trusted friend: add phone numbers that will receive an alert SMS after an untrusted SIM card is inserted into the device
   
• Remote Wipe: wipe all personal information from a phone with a single text message
   
• Remote Lock: prevent unauthorized access remotely
   
• GPS Localization: locate a lost or stolen phone with a remote command
   
• Call/SMS/MMS antispam: define trustworthy contacts via customizable black or whitelists; or block message traffic from unknown numbers
   
• Graphical user interface designed specifically for Android
   
• Real-time scanning: continual scanning of all applications, files, folders, and memory cards
   
• On-Demand scanning
   
• Password protection: User-defined password can be configured to protect ESET Mobile Security settings and access. A reminder phrase can be set for this password; if a user forgets his password, it can be reset using a remote SMS command from a Trusted friend
   
• Security audit: monitors all vital phone functions, including battery life, free disk space and running processes to maximize your phone's performance
   
• Built-in task manager: allows users to take action on the spot, including terminating any processes that raise their smartphone's risk profile
   
• Uninstall protection: secures against unauthorized uninstallation (available for Android version 2.2 or higher)
