How do I uninstall or reinstall ESET Cybersecurity for Mac? (4.x)

- Click Finder
to open a new Finder window .
- Click Applications, hold CMD + click ESET Cybersecurity and select Show Package Contents from the context menu.

- Click the Resources folder and then double-click Uninstaller.app to run the uninstaller.

- Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall ESET Cybersecurity.
- Click Close to exit the uninstaller.
- To reinstall ESET Cybersecurity, follow the illustrated instructions in our install article.
Method 2: Run the uninstaller from the ESET Cybersecurity .dmg package
- Insert the ESET Cybersecurity CD into your computer and double-click the ESET icon
on your Desktop. If you downloaded ESET from the internet, click the install package in your Downloads folder (or the default folder set by your browser).
- If you do not have the retail disk or install package you can download the install package from the Home Downloads page, or use Method I above to uninstall ESET Cybersecurity
- Double-click the Uninstall icon and follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall ESET Cybersecurity.
- Click Close to exit the uninstaller.
- Restart your computer.
- To reinstall ESET Cybersecurity, follow the illustrated instructions in our install article.
