KB Solution ID: SOLN2112|Last Revised: December 05, 2012

ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus keep logs of all previous scans that have been run on your computer. These scan logs are useful in determining whether previous threats have been successfully cleaned or deleted. To locate the scan logs, follow the steps below:

  1. Open ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus. How do I open my ESET product?

  2. To switch to Advanced Mode, click Change... in the lower left corner of the window or press CTRL + M on your keyboard.

  3. Click Tools Log Files from the main menu.

  4. Select On-demand computer scan from the Log drop-down menu.

  5. Your previous scans will be displayed. Make sure that the status shows Completed.

    Important!

If you need to submit a scan log to Customer Care for analysis, please continue to step 6 below.
